Brain Fitness
Improve Auditory Processing
Auditory processing is a fundamental root of brain fitness because much of the important information we take in each day -- and that we want to respond to, remember and use later -- comes in through speech. Brain Fitness improves the quality and quantity of the information your brain absorbs from your ears. This online program runs for 40 hours over 8 weeks.

A communicator gets his voice back

Ed found he could no longer remember things, stay focused, and work in group settings. His short-term memory and concentration deteriorated to the point where he couldn’t function at meetings. “You need to be fluent in exchanges with people, deal with surprises, and think on your feet,” Ed explains. “I could no longer be effective in this highly competitive world.”
Even before completing the program, Ed began to notice a striking improvement in his short-term memory and overall mental acuity. To his delight, he found he was once again able to grasp, recall, and work with information gleaned from reading, conversations, and watching the news. Ed’s family and friends noticed amazing changes in his behavior. In his own words, “It’s like I’ve walked out of a fog. Anybody who’s known me over past several years will have seen a real turnaround since the Brain Fitness Program.”
“When you’re not all there memory-wise, you don’t understand stuff and have to ask people after meetings to repeat things and tell you what went on,” he explains. “These are no longer problems for me. Now people ask me what went on!”
Newfound Confidence A Mid-Life Renaissance

Debbie Reed is always on the lookout for worthwhile new courses, activities, and events. It was only natural, then, that she found herself drawn to an article on the Posit Science Brain Fitness Program™ in the town newspaper. She decided to give it a try. “I had just turned 50,” she explains, “and we Baby Boomers think of ourselves as forever young. We’re willing to try new things to keep ourselves fit.”
Not long after starting Brain Fitness, she noticed she could hear conversations better at work.
As Debbie’s listening and concentration skills improved, other remarkable changes began to occur. “It’s hard to express why exactly, but as I worked through the Program, I started feeling a bit younger — kind of a more youthful and venturesome attitude toward life. I went out and bought a motorcycle!
She couldn’t be more enthusiastic about her experience with the Brain Fitness Program. “It’s like when you work out and can actually see results — you know when you’re developing a muscle! I really started feeling this happening, and an excitement comes along with it. It gives you a positive feeling about yourself. This absolutely creates changes, and you want to use them and apply them to your life.”
