Attention Problems? Medical and Non-Medical Pathways to Progress
Total Learning Centers will be featured in an encore joint presentation with Dr. Anthony Kovatch, MD from Pediatric Alliance – Arcadia Division, providing parents with up-to-date information on medical and non-medical methods of coping with a child showing signs of attention disorders. In this workshop, presented by Drs. Carol Utay & Anthony Kovatch, MD and Diane Hartman, parents will learn about how to help their child overcome ADHD and ADD symptoms with a talk on Mindfulness, natural interventions and newer, safer pharmaceutical modalities that take unique approaches to dealing with symptoms. Other topics of discussion include newer therapy and medications for children on the Autism Spectrum. Parents of children showing signs of attention issues or disorders are encouraged to attend prepared with questions and the desire to learn.
