“How do parents plan when the rules keep changing?”
A simple question with a complicated answer. Yes, the rules change and parents should try to keep up with the newest information so they can plan appropriately.
Recently the Pennsylvania Department of Education released new findings and recommendations concerning the Keystone Exam required of high school students to graduate. TLC actually welcomes this information from PDE. We have seen that the Keystone exams were not measuring what students actually knew. We also saw too many students that were forced to take time for additional help on the Keystones instead of a much needed elective. Many have had to waste time working on an unrelated project just to get it checked off that they followed the rules with the Keystone Exams.
Enjoy reading the information so you can be better informed for your child.
