Every learner reaches plateaus in their learning. When concepts don’t “click”, it’s important to get clarity as soon as possible. In math, history, language arts, and science, courses build on previous learning to delve deeper into the subject matter. If there’s a gap in knowledge early on, students can quickly fall behind - leading to lower grades, test anxiety, and procrastination.
Our approach is to start where the students are currently and then to go back to fill in any gaps that are identified. Students bring in their textbook, notes, handouts, and any other materials they’d like with them, and during their one-on-one session with their tutor, they will start making progress to getting back on track.
